Little Pinkie Gin - Limited Edition

from $40.00

Little Pinkie is made each year to celebrate World Polio Day on October 24th. The official colour for polio is purple and is a clear reminder that polio still has not been eradicated.

‘Little Pinkie’ is named after the practice of marking children’s pinkie fingers with a purple marker or dye after they’ve received a polio vaccination in overseas villages. This is to reduce the risk of doubling up on vaccination

Little Pinkie features Orange, Cardamon and Star Anise on a Juniper base. The purple colour comes from Butterfly Pea flower and turns a soft lilac pink when you add tonic or lemon to your gin.

Dunedin Craft Distillers brew and distill delicious spirits from surplus bread. Each 500ml bottle saves roughly two loaves of bread from waste. All our spirits are proofed with rainwater harvested from Mount Cargill.

500ml Little Pinkie Gin is pictured with a recyclable T-Cork closure and cellulose seal.
